The triptych of photographs are enlarged scans of the cut of two log specimens of a felled pine tree recovered from Graig Hill, Pontypridd. In the images you can see the leftover of a previous felling of the same tree so many years ago.You can even count the year rings to estimate the time it has taken for the tree to recover again. It visualises the regenerative aspect of nature which then again has been cut short by man.
